Tiga Comms: A Credible, One-Page Website for an Asia-Focused Communications Consultancy

TIGA Comms is an Asia-focused strategic communications, editorial and publishing consultancy headquartered in Singapore. It works with organisations that need to communicate complex ideas clearly and credibly, combining strategic communications with strong editorial judgement, research and deep knowledge of Asian markets.

The consultancy was founded by Damon Evans, a journalist, analyst and strategic communications adviser with more than 20 years of experience covering business, energy, policy and investment across Asia-Pacific. For individual assignments it draws on a regional network of journalists, researchers, analysts, writers and creative specialists.

We designed and built tigacomms.com. This case study covers how we structured a website for a consultancy whose whole offer rests on credibility, and what other professional services firms can take from it.

The Brief

A communications consultancy has an unusual problem with its own website: the site is a sample of the work. Visitors are senior people at corporates and industry bodies who read for a living. If the copy is woolly, the layout is cluttered or the claims sound like marketing, they will assume the work will be the same.

TIGA's audience also needs to understand a broad offer quickly. The consultancy covers six distinct areas, from messaging and executive ghostwriting to media engagement, market analysis and brand direction. The site had to set all of that out without turning into a wall of services, make the founder's background obvious, and give serious enquirers one simple way to get in touch.

Our Approach

One page, four sections

We built the site as a single, long page with four anchors in the navigation: Home, About, Services and Contact. For a consultancy at this stage, a single page has real advantages. Everything a decision-maker needs is in one scroll, nothing is buried three clicks deep, and there are no thin pages that exist only to fill out a menu.

The header is sticky, so the navigation and the logo stay in view as visitors move down the page, and it switches to a solid white bar with a soft shadow once the page scrolls. On a phone, the menu collapses behind a standard menu icon and the hero buttons stack to full width so they are easy to tap.

A headline that does the positioning

The hero carries the consultancy's line, Moving Minds, Moving Markets, with the second half picked out in TIGA's orange. Underneath sits one plain sentence that says what the firm actually does: strategic communications shaped by editorial expertise and regional insights across Asia.

There are two buttons and only two: Explore Our Services, which jumps to the six pillars, and Start A Conversation, which jumps to the contact form. Alongside them, an orange panel welcomes visitors and explains in a single sentence how TIGA helps clients shape narratives, develop thought leadership and create high-quality content.

Credentials before claims

Directly under the hero is a dark band with three short proof points: 20+ Years covering business, energy, policy and investment across Asia-Pacific; Singapore HQ, an Asia-focused consultancy working across the region; and a Regional Network of journalists, analysts, researchers and creative specialists.

We placed this band high on purpose. For an expert-led firm, the first question a visitor asks is "who are these people and why should I trust them?" Answering it in three lines, before any service detail, does more than a paragraph of adjectives.

The About section then fills in the story: what TIGA is, who it works with, and Damon's background in international news organisations and specialist publications, alongside strategic communications, thought-leadership and advisory work for corporate and industry clients. It is the same principle we followed on Body Portal: when the person is the product, put the person front and centre.

Six pillars, one consistent pattern

The heart of the page is the services section, titled Six Pillars of Practice. Each pillar is a numbered card, 01 to 06, with a heading, a one-line summary and a short list of what is included:

  • Strategic Communications & Messaging — communications strategy, narrative and message development, campaign positioning, stakeholder communications
  • Thought Leadership & Executive Content — op-eds, executive ghostwriting, LinkedIn content, reports and thought-leadership papers
  • Editorial & Publishing — long-form content, white papers, commissioning and editing, contributor management, newsletters
  • Media Strategy & Engagement — media targeting, editorial pitching, op-ed placement support, media liaison
  • Analysis & Insights — country and market briefs, sector analysis, political and regulatory context, issue monitoring
  • Brand Strategy & Creative Direction — brand positioning, creative direction, publication and platform positioning

Using the same structure for every card means a visitor can scan the whole offer in seconds and stop on the one that matches their problem. The footer repeats the six pillars as links, so they are reachable from the bottom of the page too.

A contact section that sounds like the firm

The page closes with Let's Shape the Narrative Together and a line that sums up the consultancy's tone: tell us what you need to communicate, and to whom, and we will tell you the most credible way to do it.

The form is deliberately short: name, email address and how TIGA can help. That is enough to start a useful conversation and nothing more. A link to TIGA's LinkedIn page sits in the footer for visitors who want to check the firm out first. We cover why short forms and a single primary action matter in why your website is not generating leads.

A restrained visual identity

The design takes its cues from the TIGA logo: a bold orange triangle mark next to a grey wordmark. We kept the palette to that orange, charcoal grey and plenty of white, set the headings in Poppins, and used subtle geometric shapes behind the hero that echo the angles of the logo. The result is clean and confident without decoration competing with the words, which is the right balance for a firm that sells clarity.

Built on WordPress, set up for search

The site runs on WordPress with the Divi builder, so it is straightforward to edit and extend as the consultancy grows. On the search side, the page has its own title and meta description, "Strategic Communications in Asia | TIGA Comms", and structured data that describes the organisation: its name and legal name, slogan, Singapore location, the Asia-Pacific area it serves, its founder, and the topics it knows about, from strategic communications to energy transition and Asia-Pacific policy and investment. If you want the fundamentals behind that, see our guide to SEO basics every small business must get right.

What TIGA Got

  • A single-page website that explains a broad consultancy offer in one scroll
  • Founder credentials and three proof points visible straight after the hero
  • Six service pillars presented in one consistent, scannable format
  • One clear path to enquire, with a short three-field form
  • A sticky header and mobile layout that keep navigation simple on any device
  • A WordPress and Divi build that is easy to update, with organisation schema in place

The site is new, so we are not quoting results. What we can say is that it reads the way the consultancy works: clear, credible and to the point.

What Other Consultancies Can Take From This

If you run a consultancy, agency or other expert-led professional services firm, these are the decisions that mattered most here:

  • Lead with credentials, not adjectives. Years of experience, location and who is in your network beat "passionate" and "innovative" every time.
  • Show the whole offer in one view. A consistent card format lets visitors find their problem fast.
  • Consider one page before ten. Until you have the content to justify more, a single strong page beats several thin ones.
  • Keep the form short. Name, email and the problem is enough to start a conversation.
  • Let the site prove the skill. For a communications business especially, the writing and the layout are the portfolio.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is a one-page website enough for a consultancy?

Often, yes, especially early on. If your offer can be explained clearly in a few sections, one well-structured page is easier to read and easier to keep up to date than a sprawling site. You can always add dedicated service pages or insight articles later, when you have the content to fill them properly.

Should a professional services website use WordPress?

WordPress is a sensible choice when you want to edit content yourself and keep the option to grow, for example by adding a blog or publications section later. We compare the options in build vs buy: website builder or developer.

Do you build websites for clients outside Portugal?

Yes. We are based in the Algarve but work with clients in the UK, Africa and Asia; TIGA Comms is based in Singapore. See our web design and development service for how we work.

If your consultancy's website does not yet do justice to the quality of your work, get in touch. We will tell you honestly what we would change.
