Web Design in the Algarve — Local, and Used to Working Across Timezones
Based here, but not only for here.
We are based in the Western Algarve, which means we know the shape of the businesses here: seasonal demand, bookings that arrive in three languages, a summer where nobody has time to fix the website and a winter where it finally gets done. Surf schools, holiday rentals, retreats, restaurants, trades and clinics.
It also means we can meet you in person, which matters more than people admit when you are deciding who to trust with the thing customers judge you by. That said — most of our work is remote and international, so you are not hiring a purely local shop.
A good fit if
- An Algarve business taking bookings or enquiries that currently live in WhatsApp
- A seasonal business that needs the site working before the season, not during it
- You want a site in English plus Portuguese, or another language, done properly
- You would rather talk to someone who can drive to you
Probably not us if
- You need a huge multi-site ecommerce platform with a dedicated in-house team
- You want the lowest possible price and are happy with a template
What is included
Websites built for bookings
Enquiry and booking flows suited to seasonal, capacity-limited businesses.
Multi-language done properly
Real translated pages with correct hreflang, not a browser-translate widget.
Local search visibility
The technical and on-page work that decides whether you appear for '<service> Algarve' searches.
Automation for seasonal admin
Confirmations, reminders, invoicing and reporting that run without you in August.
In-person where useful
We can come to you for photos, scoping or handover.
Support through the season
Someone who answers when something breaks in July.
What Algarve businesses usually need first
Almost always the same two things: a site that makes it obvious what you offer and how to book it, and an end to answering the same enquiry forty times a week by hand. The pretty design matters, but it is downstream of those.
The second common problem is language. A site that is genuinely bilingual — separate pages, correct markup — will out-perform a translate button every time, both for visitors and in search.
Seasonality changes the timeline
There is a right time to rebuild an Algarve website, and it is not May. Scoping and building through the quieter months means launching before demand arrives and having a full season of data behind it.
If you come to us mid-season, we will normally recommend targeted fixes now and the rebuild in the autumn, rather than replacing your booking flow at the busiest moment of your year.
Local, but not parochial
We work with clients across the UK, Portugal, Africa and Asia, which is deliberate: the standard you get here is the standard set by clients who could have hired anyone.
Being in the Algarve is convenience, not the limit of the offer.
Work we have shipped
Real projects, with what was built and what changed.

Do you only work with Algarve businesses?
No. We are based in the Western Algarve and happy to meet locally, but most of our work is remote for clients in the UK, wider Portugal, Africa and Asia.
Can you build a website in Portuguese and English?
Yes — as properly translated pages with the correct hreflang markup, so search engines serve the right language to the right visitor. A translate widget is not the same thing and does not rank.
When should a seasonal business rebuild its website?
In the off-season, so it launches before demand arrives. If you approach us mid-season we will usually recommend quick targeted fixes now and the full rebuild in autumn or winter.
Can you add online booking and payments?
Yes. Booking flows, availability, deposits and card payments are common requests here, and we build them in rather than bolting on a third-party widget where it can be avoided.
